Pina Pizza House

Pina Pizza House, the oldest Italian restaurant in Downey, California, has been serving delicious piña pizza since its establishment. The Persico family still owns and operates the restaurant.

The menu features Italian dishes, including their famous lasagna, made with pasta sheets layered with a blend of cheeses, ground beef and pork, and meat sauce, baked daily and the restaurant's best seller.

The restaurant has a long history, dating back to when Mama Pina Persico and Papa John Persico first opened it as a small pizza shop. Since then, it has grown and expanded its menu, but still uses the same recipes that have been enjoyed by people over the years.

Now run by Pina and John's son Caro and their grandson Michael, the restaurant strives to make every customer feel like family when they visit, providing a welcoming atmosphere and maintaining the same family values it was founded on.

The restaurant is at 11102 Paramount Boulevard in Downey, and people can visit or order online. Special requests and dietary concerns are accommodated, and questions about upcoming events or other inquiries can be directed to the restaurant.
